Her har du vandet til den ene side, og p\u00e5 den anden finder du l\u00e6kre restauranter, caf\u00e9er og barer med udsigt til vandet og alle s\u00f8l\u00f8verne. Jeg bes\u00f8gte ogs\u00e5 lige poolen. Det er et rigtig fint museum med fokus p\u00e5 \u00f8ernes dannelse, koloniseringen og den nuv\u00e6rende situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hvis du har dykkercertifikat, vil jeg anbefale at bruge en dag med dykning ved det legendariske spot Kicker Rock (Leon Dormido). Det er en sjov vulkansk formation midt ude i havet, som har skabt nogle magiske rammer for at dykke med diverse hajer! En kombination af fantastisk snorkling og ekspeditioner til lands. Det er for mig et absolut must! Med denne tur kommer du til at se og nyde alle de juveler, som San Cristobal har at byde p\u00e5, p\u00e5 en enkelt dag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Husk at bruge en eftermiddag ved stranden og lad op til de mange eventyr, du skal p\u00e5 p\u00e5 de her helt vilde \u00f8er. Playa Mann er ikke en typisk l\u00e6kker bounty-strand, men en lille perle. Dog velbes\u00f8gt. Det er godt sted til en dukkert! Det betyder dog ikke timevis af lange transfers, men man skal forvente en times tid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jeg kunne tydeligt m\u00e6rke, at der er mere trafik p\u00e5 Santa Cruz. \u00d8en ligger lige imellem San Cristobal og Isla Isabela og fungerer lidt som bindeled. Det skaber naturligvis mere trafik af turister end p\u00e5 de to andre \u00f8er, men denne mertrafik kan m\u00e6rkes p\u00e5 de mange gode restauranter. Udvalget er bare st\u00f8rre her. Jeg fandt rigtig mange butikker med fokus p\u00e5 den lokale og b\u00e6redygtige produktion. Havnepromenaden er flere kilometer lang, og m\u00e5ske ikke s\u00e5 autentisk som p\u00e5 San Cristobal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Om aftenen forvandler en af gaderne sig til en restaurantgade, der bliver kaldt Los Kioskos. Jeg fik serveret sk\u00f8nne ris, fisk og kolde \u00f8l midt p\u00e5 gaden ved plastikborde og plastikstole. Er der noget, der fascinerer mig ved Galapagos \u2013 og s\u00e6rligt Santa Cruz, s\u00e5 er det alts\u00e5 kysterne. De forrevne klippekyster er vilde og helt fulde af kaktusser! De majest\u00e6tiske skildpadder er ikke bag hegn men har her nogle rammer, som g\u00f8r det til deres paradisiske alderdomshjem. Det er ogs\u00e5 her, man kan opleve lavatunneller. Det kan opleves med og uden guide. Bliv klogere p\u00e5 arternes udvikling gennem tiden, og f\u00e5 historierne om nogle af de store opdagelser, man igennem tiden har gjort sig p\u00e5 Galapagos. Det er ikke en tur, som beh\u00f8ver tage en hel dag. 1-3 timer, alt efter hvor l\u00e6selysten man er. Og det kan fint g\u00f8res en eftermiddag, hvor du er kommet hjem fra en tur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Er du en erfaren dykker, m\u00e5 du ikke tage hjem, f\u00f8r du har oplevet at dykke ved Gordon Rocks. Et magisk dykkerspot, som byder p\u00e5 et helt hav af hajer, rokker og skildpadder \u2013 bogstaveligt tavlt. Det er et af de mere tekniske dyk, fordi str\u00f8mmen kan v\u00e6re st\u00e6rk. Men det er en af de helt store oplevelser!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>St\u00e5r den p\u00e5 snorkling, kan jeg anbefale at tage en tur til Isla Pinzon. Men der er rigtig mange fantastiske snorkelspots, og da jeg af gode grunde ikke har pr\u00f8vet dem alle, tr\u00e6kker jeg p\u00e5 egne erfaringer og de snakke, som jeg havde med dem, jeg m\u00f8dte undervejs. Der er bare nogle steder, som g\u00e5r igen i folks klare anbefalinger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00d8nsker du en stranddag p\u00e5 Santa Cruz? Bes\u00f8g Tortuga Bay Beach. En g\u00e5tur p\u00e5 sm\u00e5 3-4 kilometer, eller en tur i b\u00e5d fra marinaen. Vidunderlig smuk strand! Og husk altid snorkel og maske. Men meget mindre i befolkningstal end San Cristobal og Santa Cruz. Det kan m\u00e6rkes. Jeg havde oplevelsen af, at tiden her gik meget langsommere. Ret skal v\u00e6re ret, Santa Cruz og San Cristobal er ogs\u00e5 to \u00f8er, hvor man i byerne godt kan m\u00e6rke, at folk har travlt med at opleve og opdage Galapagos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Men tiden g\u00e5r i et helt andet tempo p\u00e5 Isabela. Lufthavnen p\u00e5 \u00f8en er kun forbundet med to andre \u00f8er, og der er alts\u00e5 ingen direkte forbindelse til fastlandet. Antallet af turister, der kommer hertil, er derfor naturligt mindre. Jeg anbefaler klart, at du tager en speedb\u00e5d hertil! Jeg s\u00e5 havskildpadder, der kiggede op i vandoverfladen og rokker, der sv\u00f8mmede roligt rundt. Og skulle jeg f\u00e6ngsles et sted, m\u00e5tte det gerne v\u00e6re her! Her findes strandene, som for mig personligt er de \u00e6gte strande. F\u00f8lelsen af uber\u00f8rt strand, hvor det er dyr, vejr og b\u00f8lgerne, som har formet landskabet. Og det er fortsat muligt at f\u00e5 en id\u00e9 om, hvad fangerne tilbragte tiden med. De kunne jo ikke bare bade og snorkle. De blev sat til at bygge en k\u00e6mpe mur af de lavasten, som er i omr\u00e5det, blot for at f\u00e5 tiden til at g\u00e5. Man kan virkelig forstille sig, hvor h\u00e5rdt og varmt et arbejde det har v\u00e6ret, n\u00e5r man selv st\u00e5r og halvsveder lidt over cykelturen dertil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jeg lejede en cykel og tog en tur ud til gr\u00e6demuren. P\u00e5 vejen kom jeg forbi forskellige lavatunneller, skildpadder der krydsede vejen eller slappede af i skyggen og et par smukke udsigtspunkter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>St\u00e5 tidligt op, gerne f\u00f8r 08:00, grib dit snorkeludstyr og kom afsted til Concha de Perla. En lille lagune hvor du fra badebroen hopper i vandet og snorkler side om side med diverse smukke fisk, s\u00f8l\u00f8ver, skildpadder \u2013 og er du rigtig heldig, et par pingviner. St\u00e5r du tidligt op, har du det helt for dig selv. Du m\u00e5 ikke tage til Isabela uden at bruge en dag p\u00e5 at bes\u00f8ge dette magel\u00f8se snorkelspot! Det er en masse lavatunneller og lavabroer, som ligger i en lille bugt, der g\u00f8r det til at super flot og sp\u00e6ndende snorkelomr\u00e5de. Lavt vand, super sigtbarhed, og tid i vandet med rokker, s\u00f8heste, hajer, havskildpadder og meget mere! Det er en tur, hvor alle kan v\u00e6re med, og det kr\u00e6ver ingen erfaring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For rigtigt at forst\u00e5 naturkr\u00e6fterne, som har formet og skabt Galapagos, vil et bes\u00f8g til Sierra Negra, den store vulkan p\u00e5 Isabela, v\u00e6re et must! Den har verdens n\u00e6stst\u00f8rste \u2019\u2019caldera\u2019\u2019 (lavastr\u00f8m). Og en diameter p\u00e5 imponerende 10 km!
