Heldagsbyrundtur i Mexico City

You will be picked up from your hotel by your guide, and now your city tour begins in Mexico City's exciting center. You have to walk around and start at the large central square El Zocalo, which is the central heart of the city. Here you have both a view of the cathedral and the beautiful palace. Next stop is the Latinoamericana skyscraper, Tolsá Square and the post office.

You will also visit the Fine Arts Palace where you can see the famous murals that are iconic in the Mexican art world. Afterwards, walk along the Alameda Central Park to the San Juan neighborhood, where there is a market hall known for the large selection of Mexican produce, from fresh fruit and vegetables to typical Mexican delicacies. 

You must also pass by the square "3 Cultures Square", where three cultures meet. Here you can experience the old ruins side by side with St. Jacob's colonial-era church and modern high-rises in Nonoalco-Tlatelolco.

You will also experience the ancient ruins of the Templo Mayor right by the Zocalo. These ancient ruins were discovered in the 1960s when Mexico City's subway was excavated, and there is also a museum attached to it.
